CirTran Founder and CEO Iehab Hawatmeh Participates
in Manufacturing and Trade Roundtable Sponsored by Utah Business
SALT LAKE CITY , Oct. 10, 2007 – Iehab J. Hawatmeh, founder and CEO of CirTran Corporation (OTC BB: CIRC), participated in a Manufacturing and Trade Roundtable discussion sponsored by Utah Business magazine yesterday.
Moderated by Lew Cramer, CEO of World Trade Center Utah, the Roundtable included 20 business leaders from Utah . “The Roundtable is a critical piece of our publication,” said Jacob Moon, managing editor of Utah Business magazine. “It lets participants share information about their companies with the Utah business community while providing our readers a glimpse into a specific piece of the economy.”
Mr. Hawatmeh presented information about CirTran, an international full-service contract manufacturer of IT, consumer and electronics products, discussing challenges faced by U.S. companies in China and strategies CirTran implemented to overcome problems, including protecting intellectual properties.
He also discussed CirTran's recent introduction of “The Real Deal Grill™,” an electric indoor/outdoor cooking appliance it manufactures and markets, which carries the name and endorsement of Evander Holyfield, the former heavyweight champion of the world. Promotion of The Real Deal Grill ( www.realdealgrill.com ) began Saturday, September 22 with airings of a 30-minute infomercial featuring Mr. Holyfield on targeted regional and national stations. Following his WBO world heavyweight championship fight on Saturday night in Moscow vs. Sultan Ibragimov, Mr. Holyfield is scheduled to make numerous appearances around the U.S. to promote the Grill, which was built by CirTran-Asia, which specializes in the direct response, sold-on-TV marketplace, and the first proprietary product to be engineered, manufactured and marketed by CirTran.
