CirTran Awarded New Assignment from Hill AFB
SALT LAKE CITY, May 1, 2006 – CirTran Corporation (OTC BB: CIRT), an international full-service contract manufacturer of IT, consumer and consumer electronics products, announced today that it has won a new contract from Hill Air Force Base in Utah, adding to its list of government contracts and assignments.
CirTran said work will begin shortly, both on-site at Hill AFB and at its Salt Lake City manufacturing facility. CirTran said that its assignment includes creating new custom cables and interfaces, refurbishing existing underground cables, and upgrading various rack assemblies and connectors. In its initial phase the contract is worth approximately $15,000 to CirTran.
CirTran and its Racore Technology have previously won contracts from the U.S. military, including the Air Force, as well as from police and fire departments for technology-based products including network cards and specialty radio bridges.
Hill Air Force Base is an Air Force Materiel Command base located in northern Utah. Hill AFB is home to many operational and support missions, with the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) serving as the host organization. The center provides worldwide engineering and logistics management for the F-16 Fighting Falcon, A-10 Thunderbolt II, Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile. The base performs depot maintenance of the F-16, A-10 and C-130 Hercules aircraft.
